Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger
£10-12 per hour
- Standard working week 39 hours
- Hours: 8am until 4:30pm Mon - Thurs 8am - 3:30pm Friday
- Holidays: 23 days per year plus 8 bank holidays

We currently have a superb opportunity for Accounts Assistant / purchase ledger to join our well established Engineering Company based in Abingdon.
- Arrange payment of all supplier invoices
- Supplier and general ledger reconciliations when required
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and annual budgets
- Collection of credit card statements and input to Sage. Reconciliation of the account on a monthly basis
- Resolve queries with suppliers or customers in a professional and timely manner
- Provide assistance to other parts of the Group as and when required
- Contribute to the future success of the business by developing processes and controls to aid workflow
- Ensure all financial controls are adhered to at all times
- Issuing Invoices
Knowledge and experience
- Good computer skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Excellent analytical skills
- Professional manner

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player
