Accounts Assistant - Immediate start - 6 month contract - Telford - 16-18 hours per week

This is a temporary role which will be pivotal to the on-going efficiency of the finance department. We are seeking a strong Accounts Assistant to support the current team, with a range of experience that can help out for a 6 month period. This is a PART-TIME role, which will involve the following duties and tasks:
- supplier invoice processing
- maintenance of the cash book
- generation of sales invoices
- cash allocation
- internal recharging
- liaising with other sites
- agreeing and enabling payments via BACS, CHAPS, etc
- supporting month end procedures
- offering assistance with general admin tasks where required
The Accounts Assistant we seek will be able to offer practical support in areas experiencing additional volume and month end pressures.
We are seeking a suitably experienced individual with a broad base of skills across all aspects of purchase & sales ledger. The ideal candidate will be available to start this temporary role immediately, or within a few days' notice. As this is a contract role, we seek someone happy to commit to the duration of the assignment in order to offer continuity to the current team.
This position will suit someone seeking a more flexible working arrangement, totalling 16-18 hours a week.
