Due to internal promotion, a position has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to work with our Client based in the Leyland area. This is a great opportunity for someone with well-rounded experience within a similar role to join a stable business and utilise their experience.
Your role in your new job
As part of a close-knit team, you will play an important part in ensuring the department runs smoothly. Some of your duties will include reconciliation of monthly supplier statements, allocating purchase invoices, daily cash handling, processing prepayments and accruals, VAT returns, financial reporting, maintenance of the fixed assets register and other ad hoc work as directed by management. You’ll receive support from your management team in order to ensure you are able to complete the above tasks with confidence and accuracy.
Your experience and our requirements
You will have previous experience of carrying out the above listed duties and will ideally have worked within a variety of businesses enabling you to have gained exposure to different sectors. We are seeking someone looking for a stable role within a well-established and friendly team who is able to hit the ground running and make a positive impact on the success of the team.
