Accounts Assistant & Credit Controller

We require an enthusiastic and self-motivated, accounts assistant to join our accounts team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Sage50 and experience in Xero would be of benefit as a number of different bookkeeping software systems will be used as part of the job. You will need to be presentable and professional looking at all times and have excellent customer service skills.

On a day-to-day basis you will be helping the team raise sales invoices, process purchase invoices, maintain membership lists and chase outstanding debts.

You will be paid £9 - £11 per hour depending on experience (this will be reviewed on a regular basis with the potential for increases). We require a minimum 20 Hours per week, however we are flexible with what days are worked throughout the week to make up these hours. We are a constantly growing business so further hours may be available in the future, please bare this in mind.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Maintaining Purchase and Sales Ledgers.

- Credit Control

- Updating Subscription lists

- Assisting the Accounts Team


- Understanding of Double Entry Bookkeeping

- Microsoft Office Including Excel, & Outlook

- Experience/Knowledge in Accounts and Finance.

- Experience with Sage50

Full driving licence is also required.
