A highly successful and growing firm of chartered accountants is searching for an experienced Accounts and Bookkeeping Senior to join their team based in Bideford, in a role offering increasing client responsibility and development potential, along with supervisory responsibilities, as a key addition to this well established team and firm.

This highly successful firm of chartered accountants, with offices in Bideford has undergone significant growth and has an excellent reputation and varied client base across North Devon and further afield. The firm acts for wide ranging clients in sector and turnovers and provides a great environment for the right, practice background professional, to carve a key role.


Joining as an Accounts and Bookkeeping Senior, mouldable to some degree, around the right individuals experience, background and level, based at their Bideford offices, you will have a hands on role both preparing accounts, reviewing and supporting staff members, bookkeeping and training clients on SAGE, along with other, general accountancy practice responsibilities, for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Clients are varied across industry and turnover and the firm is undergoing, continued positive growth with plans, for future development and expansion.


You will be any of AAT qualified, ACCA part, or qualified, or experienced only, but you must demonstrate a background, working within accountancy practice, with at least 2 years or more experience, preparing accounts, bookkeeping and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as an Accounts and Bookkeeping Senior, or similar level. Ideally you will have experience on SAGE and have experience, or demonstrate the ability to train clients, enjoying client contact. You will be looking for challenging opportunity in a growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants.

Job Offer

£22,000 - circa £28,000, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
