Joining the Truro teams, as an Accounts and Audit Senior in role with genuine development potential to manager levels and beyond you will take responsibility for the provision of audit, accounts and varied associated responsibilities, to a mixed client base, with increasing client contact and management responsibility. You will be responsible for leading audits to varied corporate, OMBs, not for profit and other clients, as well as significant proportion of your responsibilities preparing statutory accounts and tax computations, for both incorporated and unincorporated businesses over £250k turnover, plus occasionally UK holding companies of overseas subsidiaries. You will take responsibility for managing workloads and meeting deadlines. You will lead the fieldwork team on-site and supervise and support the work of junior staff. You will also deal with the preparation of corporate tax computations and liaise with HMRC. There will also be potential for involvement in special project work for clients, working an planning and added value advisory work, management accounts and other projects.
You will be ACA / ACCA qualified. You must have a background in accountancy practice, at around Accounts and Audit Senior level. You will be looking for a role with progression potential to manager level. You will have developed statutory audit experience and experience of preparing accounts and tax for varied clients, with an accountancy firm background. You will be looking to further your career in leading accountancy practice.
