Accounts and Audit Senior

With approximately 60% of your time spent in audit you will need to have all-round experience within a small-medium firm which will demonstrate your ability and willingness to have a hands on approach to work. duties will include:

- Prepare management accounts
- Provide junior staff with assignments and oversee their work standard
- Support trainees and help with development of knowledge and skills
- Review annual accounts prepared by juniors
- Finalise accounts

- Complete planning documentation so that audits are carried out effectively
- Review/finish audit file to the appropriate standard, suitable for manager review
- Planning – playing an active part in assisting the manager in audit planning
- Field work – carried out with minimal supervision in accordance with the audit planning
- Completion – playing an active part in assisting the manager in completing the file.

- ACA/ACCA qualification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Experience working within a small business evironment would be beneficial
