The Pension Administration business was established in 1993 and our core business is the provision of services to trustees of UK occupational pension schemes. These services include cash handling and preparing draft accounts as well as benefit administration, payroll, scheme governance, data audits and data cleansing and much more.
Due to continued growth across our business, we are delighted to have created a new position within our Pension Fund Accounting team in Cheltenham.
In an ideal world you’ll have experience with the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of accounting and bank records but this isn't essential as we'll train you.
If you have some accounts experience under your belt already then we're keen to hear from you. Alternatively, if you've gone straight from school or university to complete an accounts course such as AAT, we're also interested as this could provide a great start to your accounting career.
If you've assisted with audit work, then this would be also useful as you will be liaising with auditors, clients and third parties in relation to the schemes you are working on.
Once established in your position, you will assist with the preparation of statutory financial reports for trustees so if you've had some exposure to financial reporting this would be useful.

To be considered you will have GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C /4 in Maths and English but we'd prefer it if you were also studying towards a qualification such as AAT or perhaps you've passed already.
You will also have a strong working ability with MS Office and in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
