Your new company
You will be working for a not-for-profit organisation supporting the increased awareness and research into a little known disease that affects thousands of people nationwide. The office now requires support within the accounting function as the stand alone accounts personnel takes on a new challenge.
Your new role
You will work in a stand alone role where your experience and initiative will be crucial to your success. Your role will give you autonomy to carry out accurate and smooth running of the accounts using CRM and Sage systems, as well assisting with Month and Year-end procedures. Included in your role will be responsibility for petty cash processing, bank statement reconciliations, ensuring payments via bank or cheque as well as ad-hoc office duties where required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience within an accounts function, ideally 2+ years' experience in an accounting background. You will be a confident user of excel, and be able to work flexibly to differing job demands. Use of Sage or equivalent accounting packages is preferable, as well as knowledge of not-for-profit accounting procedures.
What you'll get in return
You will work on a temp to perm basis, receiving salary equivalent to £20,300 in a full time capacity, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to engage in study with the support of the organisation and will gain the opportunity to manage your workload and work to your own flexible schedule.
