Accounts Administrator - Smethwick - temporary contract - immediate start - to £11.50 per hour
We are working with a large, well-established manufacturing business operating in markets across the world. Based in Smethwick, they are one of the largest organisations in their sector. We are now seeking an additional Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis for their finance team.
The Accounts Administrator role is a great opportunity to join a business that is experiencing an exciting trading period. It will be a busy and challenging time to work with them.
Specifically, the role will involve the following tasks:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Resolution of supplier queries & statement recs
- Posting cash
- Processing sales invoices & credit notes
- Credit control
- Dealing in inter-company payment queries
- Ad hoc support tasks for month end
The Accounts Administrator will be needed for a period of around 3-6 months initially to support the current team.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background in invoice processing, cash allocation and other general accounting tasks, including credit control, with a positive and enthusiastic personality. You will be happy to offer help and support to a busy team of people. This role will suit someone with experience across both sales & purchase ledgers, who is used to working in a pressurised office environment.
