Accounts Administrator

Our client a successful organisation that's gone through superb growth in the last few years is looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator on a Part Time basis to their friendly team. This role will report directly to the managing director and chairman.

Overview of role:

We are looking for an accounts administrator with strong experience of SAGE and excellent Excel skills

·Bank reconciliations, monitoring bank limits and posting transactions
·VAT and EC sales returns
·Payroll, PAYE and end of year returns
·Pension administration, posting and arranging twice yearly workshops
·Sales invoicing, credit control and chasing outstanding purchase orders
·Checking and posting supplier invoices and payments
·Record and reconcile petty cash
·Posting daily transactions to the general ledger
·Keeping the fixed asset register and depreciation records up to date
·Credit card payments
·Raising payments via online banking
·Liaising with Accountants, HMRC and other authorities when necessary
·Maintaining the timesheet system and reporting on a weekly basis
·Assist the Team with any Excel issues and reports

We're looking for someone:

·High focus on attention to detail
·The ability to work independently
·A good knowledge of sage and ability to set up/define/manage new processes as required

My client can be flexible with the hours required which will be discussed. However it is anticipated that some time will be required every day.

Salary: Between £20k - £30k pro rata depending on experience.
