Bookkeeper and Accounts Administrator

Our client is a wholesale fabric company based in Edmonton, North London.

Hours: part time- 2 or 3 days a week (must work mondays)

Salary: £28K-£32K pro rata

They are looking for a part time bookkeeper and general accounts person who can undertake the following

  • Oversee the full purchase ledger life cycle, from reviewing supplier invoices to input of underlying accounting records and preparation of payment instructions
  • Generate and record sales invoices and subsequent credit control
  • Deal with client enquires and liaise with them on a regular basis to provide a comprehensive service
  • General administration of the accounts team including the production of financial information
  • Filing and archiving

Skills & experience:

  • Proficient with sage 50 accounts and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to find errors
  • Able to maintain professionalism at all times
