Accounts administration role for a legal firm located in Manchester city centre

Your new company

This boutique legal firm located in Manchester city centre are looking for an accounts admin to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be joining a fast-paced legal firm and to develop your skills in a smaller finance team.

Your new role

You will be covering a variety of accounts and administrative tasks. You will report to the senior legal cashier and the role will centre predominantly around there 600+ client duty bank accounts. On a day to day basis you will be completing bank forms of new accounts and new starters, You will be sending letter to financial institutions and liaising with banks ton the phone to resolve issues with client debit cards. You will be completing multiple monthly bank statements for there clients and helping to reconcile some internal records. You will be recording regular bank transactions and filing and archiving. You will be doing other administrative and accounts duties that will vary on a day to day basis.

What you'll need to succeed

Having accounts experience will be highly advantageous to your application specifically if it is within the legal sector. You must have experience being able to complete simple bank reconciliations and must be proficient with both Excel and Word. Having strong communication and organisation skills will allow you to hit the ground running within this role.

What you'll get in return

You will receive 25 days holiday per calendar year plus 1.5 days holiday at Christmas. Private health care following the completion of the 3 month probationary period. Additionally, they provide life insurance at 3 x salary and contributory pension scheme. Attendance bonus schemes and annual bonus of a weeks salary on firm hitting billing targets. They will also assist with the provision of additionally IT equipment and furniture required to set up your home office, if require. You will be working 37.5 hrs per week and will be joining a highly collaborative team.
