We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Administration Assistant for one of our Sheffield city centre based clients. The client is a well-established law firm, who currently require an administrator to join their accounts team to deal with all daily transactions and to ensure compliance with the Solicitors' accounts rules.
This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who likes a process driven role who look to work with policy and procedures and who work methodically. The ideal candidate will have experience of basic accounts. Legal accounts experience is advantageous but not essential.
-Processing financial payments, receipts and transfers; including day end balancing procedures
-Processing credit and debit card payments
-Deal with daily banking and daily cheque run
-Maintaining VAT records
-Dealing with petty cash payments
-Checking and processing bills
-Maintaining data security and confidentiality
-Experience of working in administration or data entry
-Experience of working in accounts or with numbers - in a professional setting
-Strong IT skills, including fast and accurate keyboard skills and confident
-Ability to prioritise workload
-Strong communication skills with high levels of client care
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent time management and organisational skills
