Working for established business based in Milton Keynes, this role has a heavy emphasis on ensuring that group policies, standards and processes are implemented and adhered to, in addition to preparing financial and management accounts for several group companies.
Overseeing a small transactional and support team, duties will include:
Develop risk, compliance, statutory and professional processes and ensure controls are achieved across all internal functions.
Accounting processes for group companies.
Produce monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide business partner and budgetary process support to internal stakeholders.
Manage statutory audit processes.
Prepare tax returns.
Control processes covering fleet, IT and telephony contracts.
The role would suit a qualified accountant (or similar level experience) with strong process improvement skills, excellent interaction and business partner experience plus particular experience in risk and compliance
£50-£55k plus car allowance
