Accountant

Accountancy & Finance is currently supporting our client with the hire of An Accountant to join their teams in their Head Office in Nottingham.

Working for a well-respected and well-established Chartered Accountants and reporting to the firms Director.

This is a superb opportunity to join an established practice and supporting their impressive, wide ranging portfolio of clients from Sole Traders, Limited Companies to Corporate Businesses. Client meetings will be a requirement for some of the businesses – fully COVID compliant.

The role of Accountant would suit candidates with 4 years’+ experience within practice, be qualified to ACCA. ACA or similar. The role is also open to candidates who are qualified by experience or stopped studiers.

Main Responsibilities. Although not exhaustive to:

Monthly Management Accounting

VAT Returns

TAX Computations

Audit

Payroll (overseeing this function)

The incumbent will also have experience of XERO or/and SAGE as a mandatory requirement. Knowledge of IRIS would be beneficial.
