£30,000 + Pension
An Accountant is required to manage the finances of this successful organisation, this is very much a 'hands on’ role requiring good reporting skills
Some of your duties will include:
- Managing the accounts and finance function and supervising an Accounts Assistant
- Overseeing the management of the sales, purchase and nominal ledger function to trial balance
- Reconciling accounts at the month-end and preparing profit and loss reports for management team
- Preparing management accounts and variance to budget analysis reports for Board meetings
- Calculating, preparing and submitting quarterly online VAT returns and processing HMRC payments
- Completing monthly staff payroll and producing PAYE payments and HMRC annual returns
