Hays are currently working with a large private sector organisation who are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. Your new organisation are tycoons in Financial Services who pride themselves on being able to successfully deliver to their ever growing client base on a number of services in a fast paced market. They are internationally recognised and a well-known brand that will add value to any successful candidates CV.
Your new role
In your new role you will be joining a core team to deliver the following responsibilities:
- Month end reporting
- Profit and Loss accounts
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Releasing of BACs payments and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Co-ordination of General Ledger
- Management Accounts
- Preparation of postings of Payroll and purchase invoices
What you'll need to succeed
The organisation require an individual who has a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar Accountant role who can join the organisation and essentially "hit the ground running". A candidate with a strong analytical mind along with the ability to implement new processes to improve and benefit the business model for the long run. Good knowledge/experience in Payroll Costing will also serve well as this is an ideal requirement for this position.
