Bookkeeper/Accountant, Near Loughborough Salary £30-40,000 pro-rata

Our client is a privately owned, successful engineering company. It employs a small team people and is based near Loughborough.
Having been acquired by the current owners in 2017, it is now building the finance function initially with the appointment of a part-time Bookkeeper/Accountant.
Requirements
As a small team, it expects all members of staff to play an active involvement in the success of the business. The bookkeeper/Accountant will have day-to-day responsibility for finance, with support from a part-time Finance Director and Managing Director.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
*Accounts Payable
*Accounts Receivable
*Invoice Discounting
*Bank Reconciliations
*Forecasting and cash flow reporting
*Payroll
*Management Accounts
Skills
You should have at least 5-years' experience of working in an accounting department, and ideally will hold a professional qualification (AAT or alike). You will be confident in the use of Excel spreadsheets and ideally have experience of Xero or Sage.
The hours are flexible and can either be done as 3 eight hour days, or split over the course of a week. A small portion of remote working is acceptable, although its preference is for you to work from the offices at its manufacturing facility.
Hours: Part-time, 24 hour per week.
Salary: Negotiable pro-rata based on £30-£40K (if full time)
Holiday: 25 days (pro-rated)
