We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) to be instrumental in the growth of this new and exciting business. This position can be based anywhere in the UK and is a home based role.
Are you an accountancy practice manager, or responsible for managing a team of practice accountants? Do you relish setting up new operational systems and processes, and delivering exceptional client work?
This is a new accountancy practice that specialises in providing a personalised, friendly, efficient and strategic service to property investors. They have already been successful in building a client base, and have an exceptionally strong prospect "waiting list".
The group current provides advice to hundreds of thousands of property investors every year. These channels introduce clients to the businesses. The team work from home, using the latest technology to collaborate effectively.
Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will be instrumental in building a visionary business unit from scratch. You'll be responsible for managing the client portfolio - as well as delivering accounting and taxation services and providing business advice, you will be managing staff, workload and budgets.
Initially with a small team of direct reports, they have ambitious growth plans and your contribution will be critical to the success and speed of this.
The appointed candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 2 years' experience as a manager in an accountancy practice, and have expert knowledge on accountancy and tax service to individuals and small businesses.You have proven people skills and are passionate about managing people and leading a team.You are proactive and self-motivated, able to act and make decisions with little day-to-day guidance.You are technically strong, able to do your own work managing a mixed client portfolio and help others in the team.You're comfortable with new technology, and highly systems and process oriented with a positive "can do" attitude. You are continually on the lookout for ways to improve.
