Our client is a unique award-winning social marketing agency that engages with under-25’s

They combine educational expertise, with strong consumer marketing skills and school support to provide excellent marketing and socially-focused campaigns to companies, public sector organisations and major agencies.

Their work and campaigns focus on delivering the brand or social impact that their clients are seeking whilst benefiting schools, education and communities at the same time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our account team in our talented organisation. This is a great opportunity to get involved in many elements of running a marketing campaign.

Reporting in to a Senior Account Manager or Account Manager, you will have the chance to collaborate with the in-house comms, creative, research and new business teams as well as externally with clients and suppliers, as you work on any of the following:

•    Supporting Account Teams in campaign delivery

•    Assisting the new business pitching process

•    Timing Plans

•    Status reports and contact reports

•    Liaising with external suppliers and negotiating quotes

•    Desk research and general administration

How you can expect to spend your day:

•    Organising, taking minutes, and taking part in client and internal meetings

•    Assisting with timing Plans

•    Assisting with status reports and contact reports

•    Keeping in touch with the client at all stages of the campaign

•    Liaising with external suppliers

•    Obtaining and negotiating quotes

•    Assisting in organising print production

•    Desk research and general administration

•    To support the research of new business proposals and tenders

•    Assisting in case study preparation

•    Support the account team and wider agency in day-to-day activities

•    Assisting in aspects of our unique Youth Network including helping with recruiting new members, planning and organising focus groups and writing up session summaries.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:

•    Must be a recent graduate, preferably with experience in a marketing environment

•    Strong desire to learn with a professional attitude

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•    Excellent attention to detail and used to working to tight deadlines 

•    Computer literate with some experience of database use and/or social media platforms

•    A passion and keen interest in marketing. The ability to work autonomously, in a organised manner, with good time management skills

•    A pro-active thinker who wants to be given responsibility
