This is a 6 month internship with view to a permanent role based in Birmingham, paying £16K-18K (DOE)

Key responsibilities of the role;

Our client is looking for an Account Surveyor to join their team in Birmingham

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Dealing with the accounts department
  • Pricing up jobs using set of reactive rates
  • Invoicing clients using SAGE
  • Analysing and evaluating all costs for job (materials costs,…) to ensure all are charged out
  • Answering customer queries
  • Building up and maintaining positive relationships with customer
  • Ensuring the business has received subcontractor paperwork to be able to charge it to the client

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications;

  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in using SAGE is desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Organised, confident, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Good mathematical skills
