Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly progressive firm of accountants in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking to add an Accounts Semi Senior to their team.
The ideal individual for the role will have a solid foundation in general practice work and will have experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, as well as bookkeeping and VAT work. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified/ Part Qualified and/or studying towards ACCA/ ACA.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Preparation of management accounts
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC queries
Liaising directly with clients
Building strong client relationships
ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified/ Student
AAT Qualified/ Student or QBE
Experience of working in practice is essential
