Basic Salary of £40,000 plus commission

Spencer Maguire have partnered with a market leader in Email security and are recruiting for several exceptional account managers with proven success with both end users and channel sales. If you’re an account manager with the ability to leverage the channel and exceed sales targets, this might be the opportunity for you.

As a Customer Development sales professional, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing Mimecast Customers within our Mid-Market with the support of our Customer Experience team. You should be comfortable with managing all aspects of the commercial relationship between Mimecast, our Mimecast Partner and the Customer to ensure your portfolio of customers is growing year-on-year in line with Mimecast’s Corporate Goals and Ambitions.

You will be focusing on upselling / cross-selling to maximise the opportunity with your portfolio of customers whilst mitigating any risk of Downsell or Churn.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the revenue growth of a Portfolio of existing Customers
  • Identify, Grow and Maximise the Upsell / Cross-Selling Opportunity
  • Opportunity and Pipeline Stage Management
  • Timely processing of Renewals
  • Forecasting Accuracy
  • Protecting, preventing and minimising against Downsell & Churn risks
  • Value Proposition Proposals which could also extend to RFI, RFP and Tenders
  • Commercial Negotiations
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures and working practices.

Requirements

  • Proven Account Management including Account Planning experience
  • Excellent business management and opportunity development skills
  • Strong sales background with proven track record of success
  • Track record of selling new product penetration into an account list
  • Ability to promote new technology at all levels
  • Deep understanding of a Technology Solution Sales process, preferably with a Cloud, SaaS or Software solution.
  • Challenger Sale Mindset
  • 3+ years of proven upsell / cross-selling successes
  • Exceptional employer and customer references
