A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join my client based in the Speke area. The position is to work within an established team in the company where you will be responsible for managing current business accounts and ensuring maximum profitability and usage. The opportunity is office based and is offered with a basic salary of £17,000 plus commission (£24,000 OTE). Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:00pm.

The main duties of an Account Manager are;

  • Deliver excellent service and achieve sales and performance targets through effective account management
  • Keep in contact with key decision makers with a view to developing and maintaining strong business relationships (no cold calling)
  • Use a consultative approach to identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities in order to maximise account profitability
  • Listen and understand the client’s needs to ensure tailored solutions
  • Negotiate and retain existing business
  • Create and develop a contact cycle with clients

To be considered for this position you must possess the following;

  • Have similar experience within an telephone Account Management or Sales position position
  • A high work ethic coupled with an energetic and methodical approach to work
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and listening skills coupled with a professional telephone manner
  • Basic IT skills
