Broker / Account Manager (Caribbean Treaty Team), (London, UK)

Aon are currently recruiting a Broker / Account Manager to join our Caribbean Treaty Team in London. The Broker / Account Manager will be primarily responsible for producing and/or providing quality checks in respect of documentation and transactional activities required to support the placement of business. You will also be responsible for building a relationship with, providing a service to and managing the expectations of a client or clients. You will have hands on involvement in product development analysis and application. You may assist in marketing business within the Lloyds and Company Market (globally) on a day to day basis.

 

This is a combined Broking and Account Management role.

About the Role

 

As a Broker / Account Manager some of your key responsibilities will involve:

 

Key responsibilities:
  • Understanding less complex clients’ coverage needs in order to collect and analyse relevant information for risk transfer solutions
  • Brokers endorsements and renewals – can identify appropriate channels for risk placement based on clients’ market security guidelines and other requirements
  • Negotiates terms and conditions of placement
  • Provides assistance to more senior brokers on the renewal process for more complex accounts
  • Builds strong relationships within the market and with relevant Aon network
  • Responsible for assisting in producing and/or providing quality checks in respect of documentation and transactional activities supporting the placement of business
