My client is a small innovative company based on the outskirts of Cambridge,
They are looking for a hybrid account manager that can foremost build relationships with clients and close sales but also have a hand in other areas of the business.
As the key account manager you will be speaking to existing customers and work with new customers and either route them to the relevant distributor or work directly with them to help them identify a technical solution to meet their requirement.
** Please Note** Due to the Easter holidays and company schedule, candidates wont be interviewed until week beginning 23rd April.
Work with distributors and customers to ensure orders are received and processed in a timely manner.
Work through the technical details of the customer application to ensure they specify the system they need.
Ensure that any special requirements are clearly documented and signed off.
Review and enter Sales orders, prepare quotes, and project specifications
Deal directly with key accounts and ensure that they continue to engage.
Monitor sales order intake and planned shipment dates to ensure sales targets are met.
Seek new key accounts.
Take responsibility for producing sales and marketing collateral for new products and maintain as required.
Maintain awareness of the production schedule to be able to quote optimum lead times.
Key Account Manager Experience:
Working with distributors and customers
Technical sales (ideally in a telemetry or related business)
