An exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager has arisen to manage a panel of Brokers across East Anglia.
Accordingly you can be based anywhere within East Anglia as long as you are able to travel to regularly meet all of your Brokers and to visit the Ipswich office once a week.
You will be responsible for the development and profitable growth of your panel, working closely with them and the team of Underwriters.
Your main duties will include:
Monthly reviews with all Brokers to check financials against plan, obtain service feedback and communicate company initiatives and changes
Develop and maintain pipeline of new business enquiries and identify opportunities for new deals and schemes
Identify trends in Account performance and challenge unprofitable or underperforming areas
Negotiation of business plans, profit share deals/commissions
Overseeing larger renewal negotiations, liaising between Broker, Underwriter and Head Office.
Main point of contact for support on day to day queries and issues
Maintain close relationships with Underwriting team ensuring relevant information is fed back
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Experience in a similar Relationship Management role, ideally within an Insurer
Successful development of accounts and business opportunities
Excellent interpersonal skill and a flair for commercial decision making
Strong attention to detail and drive to make things happen
