Account Manager

iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Slough who are looking for an Account Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. You will be responsible for the effective account management of existing Business Alliance members and the identification and recruitment of new Business Alliance members.

The post holder will be expected to take an active participation in the delivery of Business Alliance events. Business Alliance membership is an exclusive and invitation only division of the company membership and as such the account management of its members needs to be undertaken in a discrete, professional and high quality manner.


  • To retain Business Alliance members in membership
  • To provide professional and high quality account management of Business Alliance members
  • To proactively engage Business Alliance members with programmes and events as appropriate to their business needs and objectives
  • To identify Business Alliance members with potential for Strategic Partner status
  • To ensure that the renewal process is managed in a timely and structured way
  • To be involved in the recruitment of Business Alliance members
  • To assist in the coordination of Business Alliance sales campaigns
  • To develop and deliver the established Business Alliance and Windsor Debates programme of events
  • To identify at an early stage those members at risk of withdrawal and take corrective action before the term of membership become due for renewal
  • To conduct an annual business review with each member
  • To develop and convert new Business Alliance membership opportunities (in cooperation with the Head of Commercial Services) to agreed targets
  • Take responsibility for the effective recording and updating of information relating to each member in the segment on the NG database
  • Attend other internal or external meetings as appropriate and required
  • To work effectively to strict deadlines, within agreed key performance indicators and targets
  • To ensure targets set are achieved
  • To represent the organisation and external meetings and events as required
  • To visit clients as necessary
  • To participate in event coordination; this will involve personal invitations by email and telephone to current and prospective Business Alliance members
  • Perform any other duties as may reasonably be required


  • To be a team player and to support colleagues in the achievement of team objectives
  • To portray a professional visual and verbal image at all times
  • To undertake training as required
  • To proactively develop knowledge of the company and its product portfolio
