Account Manager

  • £20,000 - £25,000 basic + bonus
  • Runcorn
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Permanent Contract

My client is currently looking to add to their well established sales team with a proven and experienced Account Manager

Within this role, you will be tasked with both building and maintaining relationships with an active portfolio of accounts as well as consulting with new customers and providing an excellent service.

The main duties of the Account Manager role are;

  • Account managing clients and developing their accounts
  • Logging all queries and effectively resolving them in a timely manner
  • Handling technical customer enquiries
  • Processing orders and quotations to customer requirements
  • Internal selling and monitoring of established customers
  • Following orders through from start to finish
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to existing business
  • Achieving set monthly team and individual sales targets
  • Accurate communication with all departments and regional sites
  • Database maintenance

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Ability to take ownership of issues
  • A persuasive nature
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • A consultative nature and the ability to give advice to your clients

Salary for the role is £20,000 - £25,000 + bonuses and an immediate start date
