Account Manager

Blue Whale Spa, the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hot tubs, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our expanding B2B sales team. This is a new role, offered on a permanent basis with an immediate start, created due to business expansion.

Key Function:

  • Selling hot tubs to businesses; building and maintaining business relationships with key B2B accounts.

  • Your time will be split between field sales and office sales, dependant on the number of appoints generated each week.

  • Whilst some business accounts have been set up already, your role will be to build rapport with potential businesses and secure new business deals.

  • Supporting business development by researching the market to generate your own avenues of sales.

  • Following internal booking procedures for all orders made.

  • Negotiating terms and conditions with clients in line with our overall aims and objectives.

  • Maintaining records on our CRM system.

  • Dealing with client queries in a timely manner.

  • Providing an outstanding level of customer service at all times.

Key Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B field based role.

  • Have proven experience of working with CRM systems and MS office. Sales Force would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Possess proven negotiation skills.

  • Be able to build rapport with potential clients.

  • Commercially focused.

  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

  • Able to work as part of a team but also individually

  • Have worked to KPI’s in previous roles, and able to meet business objectives.

  • Have previous experience of working in a fast-paced organisation.

  • Be Microsoft proficient with proven experience of PowerPoint.

  • Have previous experience of PowerPoint presentations.

  • Be confident and presentable to a business level at all times.

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in any field.

You will be required to be flexible with your hours to meet business demands. Basic salary for this role is £18,000 to £20,000 dependent upon experience, with OTE reaching £30,000. However, OTE is not capped and a strong motivated sales person could earn more than this over the year.
