Account Manager

Major Exhibition company and Publisher seeks an Account Manager to help build sales with one of their flagship major events – selling exhibition space, advertising and sponsorship. This is a top-level trade show with major UK and international corporates and midsized companies attending.

This is a solid well-established firm growing very fast with a very modern outlook. A good, fun place to work, build skills and to earn significant commissions.

Key duties for this role as Account Manager include:

- Opening up new opportunities with corporates and mid-sized companies worldwide selling space at the event, adverts and sponsorship.
- Develop detailed strategic plans for each account and for converting target new business prospects
- Develop and grow relationships with existing and new clients.

The successful candidate as Account Manager will have the following skills:

- Successful B2B sales background in media, events or publishing is highly desirable.
- Confident and dynamic.
- Excellent New Business Development skills and demonstrable track record.
- Good internally and externally. Team skills
- Highly disciplined and process driven
- Clear understanding of the sales process
- Ability to engage at senior level with clients.
- Excellent communicator in English both written and verbal
- Ambitious, driven and dynamic
- Keen to earn significant commissions
- IT Literate and familiar with the use of CRM
- Location. Commuting distance of West Central London.
