Our client has a vacancy for an Account Manager to manage the commercial relationship with existing clients. Proactively contacting clients to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery, whilst identifying further new business opportunities.

You will be maintaining the revenue and gross profit of each account ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets, exhausting all additional revenue streams opportunities.

Working with Sales and Operations Team to ensure that service requirements are understood and implemented in line with client expectations.

Key aspects

  • Monitoring the day to day commercial performance of each account within portfolio.

  • Regularly liaising with existing clients to identify new business opportunities.

  • Progressively manage an opportunity pipeline, closing all possible opportunities to achieve a Gross Profit result in line with targets.

  • Ensuring all clients understand the services on offer.

  • Upkeep of electronic records.

  • Oversee the project management of the roll-out of new contracts and services to the client.

  • Provide detailed information and reports to the directors of the company as and when required.

  • Carry out analysis and produce reports on a monthly and as and when required basis.

  • Daily liaison with other members of the team to provide information and ensure that customers receive excellent customer service and suppliers provide consistent services.

  • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers / Coordinator’s with a range of customer projects at any one time.

  • Advising on changes and trends in the marketplace and the activities of competitors.

  • Assisting the Marketing Executive with content of company literature and out-going correspondence.

Essential Experience

  • Experience of managing a remote and office based team
  • Have proven experience of successfully managing a multiple large accounts
  • Understanding of IT solutions
  • Can demonstrate continued growth with existing clients
  • Can recognise / cultivate opportunities from the existing clients
  • Evidence of achievement within a commercial environment
  • Financial awareness
  • Proven experience in project management

  • Demonstrates a commercial outlook

  • Able to plan and prioritise high volumes
