Position: Account Manager
Our client is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and consultative account manager that wants to make his or her mark on the business world and wants the opportunity to build a customer base. The candidate will be seeking long-term financial and professional reward in the form of equity participation and eventual company directorship.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling IT software solutions and has worked in all parts of the sales process, from telemarketing and account management.
The company provide a suite of web-based content management applications and complementary Creative, Digital and Professional services to key market sectors in the UK. These include Social Housing where we are the clear market leader, the NHS the fastest growing part of the business, the Local Government, and broader SMEs for which we have exciting and ambitious plans.
A proven account management track record in IT software solutions
A creative self-starter with drive and enthusiasm to compete in this industry
A good knowledge of IT and communications products, software/hardware product
demonstrations where appropriate
Responsible for achieving the sales targets as set out by the Board.
Cross selling different products services to the existing customer base
Price and contract negotiations
Be able to create and work customer account plans
To track and report on all sales activity.
To provide clients with financial models and ROI analysis.
Relationship and pipeline management with zero attrition with clients.
Be able to accurately forecast on a monthly basis
Work with the Marketing Department to engage on campaigns.
Detailed knowledge of the company’s products and solutions, including the ability to
deliver product demonstrations where appropriate
