Account Manager

An Account Manager is sought by a successful business providing services to clients in the public sector. The successful candidate will have excellent account management skills, and will enjoy building relationships and providing a high level of customer service. Customers are in the health care and social care sector and an understanding of these fields would be beneficial for this role. There is a field based element to the job and the account manager will be expected to be meeting and working with customers 4 days a week, with 1 day a week working from home.

Essential experience:

  • The ability to take in, understand, process & summarise large amounts of information and document accordingly
  • Must be proactive and organised with good use of initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Presentation skills for training small and large groups
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to understand issues and solve problems in a timely manner
  • A personable approach to build and maintain a strong rapport and relationship with all contacts
  • Customer empathy
  • The tenacity to achieve success with difficult accounts
  • Ability to stay away from home overnight when required
  • Full UK driving licence

Good to have:

  • Prior experience in social care, health care, or local authority sector

The Account Manager will work as part of a small, friendly team, covering the UK. The Account Manager will work with companies in the Bristol area, and will need to be located in this area to service customers. There will be monthly team meetings at the Solihull based HQ offering the chance to interact with colleagues. This is an interesting and varied role offering the opportunity to deliver training sessions, provide customers with product updates, support customers and establish and maintaining customer relationships. No two days are ever the same, offering an interesting career opportunity. There is an excellent remuneration on offer, in addition to the use of a company car.
