About the company
Select Appointments are helping our client to find them an Account Manager to join their well established, fast growing and reputable company that provides branded merchandise solutions to businesses in the UK and Europe. Once the promotional items are sourced from Asia, with the clients branded logo on the product, the team then get involved in brainstorming to produce creative and innovative ideas to meet the client’s requirements.

About the role
You will be focused on developing the revenue stream for the business as this is a target driven role which involves meeting with customers, suppliers and contractors on a regular basis. The Account Manager will see the solution go from start to finish whilst managing financial performance of products to achieve project profitability.

You will be:
Helping the client bring their idea to life through a series of imaginative sales demonstration units.
Managing enquiries and providing creative solutions and product designs.
Liaising with external suppliers to ensure tight delivery deadlines are met.
Assisting in the creation of the design and development to meet clients needs.
Working on large multi-national corporations whereby your contact will be the Marketing/Purchasing departments.
Liaising with factories in Asia and Europe to translate the clients brief into reality
Building and maintaining customer relationship by identifying new needs and opportunities.
Confidently present products or solutions to customers individually or in groups.

The Essentials
You will have a proven success rate of target-driven sales with varied projects.
Experience in custom product design from initial concept through to manufacture stage.
Confident communicator who desires to regularly speak and visit customers.
Project management and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge/experience in promotional materials for Marketing.
A degree in Engineering or Product Design or equivalent with a strong English and Maths is highly desirable.
Proficient in all Microsoft packages and experience using CRM systems is preferred.
Must be able to take a proactive approach to the role.

Salary & benefits
Circa £25k-£32k subject to experience plus bonus.
