Account Manager

We are currently supporting the recruitment of an Account Manager for an award winning, dynamic and forward thinking print management and direct mail provider. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated client services team responsible for the management and delivery of new and existing customer projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop accounts and build strong relationships with customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and encourage new business leads
  • Manage high profile key accounts on mandatory and critical mail projects
  • Brief with clients and manage the set-up of new campaigns
  • Co-ordinate data, artwork and production, and manage campaign process
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal production, commercial and sales departments
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and to client specifications
  • Follow through jobs as they progress and report back to the client as necessary
  • Suggest changes to improve or enhance processes and quality
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth management of projects
  • Work closely with clients to build strong relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Attend client meetings and report on SLAs
  • Gain client feedback to make improvements to existing projects
  • Spend time on the production floor and become familiar with the production process

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 3 years account management experience is essential
  • Experience in direct mail, print management or fulfilment environments is also essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to prioritise busy workloads and multi-task
  • Work to tight deadlines and thrive in a pressurised environment
  • Good project management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Committed, hardworking and flexible

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm

Salary and benefits:

  • £26,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package
