We are looking for a Strong Account Manager with ideally a mailing background, to work for a well-established solutions company based in Ashford Kent, to act as an interface between clients and the company, providing a consistently high standard of service.
This is not a full on sales role but a true account management role where attention to detail and building relationships with clients is crucial, there is scope to upsell and cross sell but the FOCUS is client account management and retention.
All About The role
Liaise between clients and internal departments ensuring the smooth running of all jobs, seeing them through from conception to completion - effectively acting as the client’s representative here for the purposes of managing their work.
Maintain a professional approach at all times, ensuring that the client’s confidence in the individual and our client is maintained at all times.
Translate often complex client instructions into a simple to understand brief for internal departments. Liaise with other internal departments building strong working relationships with external bodies such as printers and other agencies as necessary.
To build and develop strong long term client relationships based on honesty, reliability, professionalism and a commitment to providing the highest possible standards of client service, maximising profit opportunities for the business.
To complete all relevant paperwork and administration required for the smooth running of jobs ensuring ongoing liaison with clients to keep them advised of progress and completion of their job. This would also include the effective management of stock, including 'overs’ and 'surplus material’.
To operate the internal system ensuring preparation of quotation at the beginning of a job and documentation of final invoice details upon completion for finance department to issue invoice and including full, detailed job instructions.
All About you
Excellent Communicator (both verbal and written) with the ability to adapt styles based on audience/situation.
Experience of managing and developing relationship with customers and/or suppliers (Would suit a sales account manager who no longer wants to work to sales targets)
Computer literate with an aptitude for using IT to maximum benefit.
Sound negotiating/persuasive skills / highly professional personal presentation.
Seeks and responds positively to challenges / Tenacious and logical approach to problem solving.
A conscientious 'supplier’ to clients/customers / Flexible - ability to work in a constantly changing and challenging environment
Enjoys own responsibilities and tight deadlines to work towards / Clean Driving licence
