Account Manager (Telecoms, Data, IT Security and Energy) - Surrey

Salary - £27K and OTE (On Target Earnings) of up to £38 - 40k per annum

£400 a month car allowance following 3 months probation

Our client is an independent supplier of business telecoms, data, IT security and energy to UK businesses and schools.

Providing an array of products and services, our client is a well established business with more than two decades' experience in providing value for money, by offering the essential services businesses need to operate efficiently.

Due to our client`s growth and sustainable business, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join their rapidly growing Account Management team.

The Role -

This is a role which will suit someone with a keen interest in IT and Telecoms and in this role, you will be responsible for:

- Acting as the key interface between the customer and all relevant departments including: PCT, Accounts, Technical Support and SMT (Senior Management Team)

- Identifying sales opportunities within existing customer accounts

- Meeting all KPI`s, SLA`s and targets

- The development and achievement of sales targets

- Carrying out monthly telesales days making appointments

- Managing and solving customer problems/conflicts

- Handling customer requests from start to finish

- Keeping in regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction

- Attending new business appointments when required

- Managing customer needs within set timeframes

- Updating of accurate CRM (customer relation management) information with help from the sales team.

- Updating Pipeline and Forecasting at all times

Role Requirements -

- Experience in account management and relationship building skills

- Desire to achieve and exceed targets

- Experience of managing SME's and larger decision makers at head office level

- Experience in project management and collaboration with 3rd party suppliers

- Aptitude toward understanding new technologies and solutions

Key Skills -

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Maintains a customer focused approach at all times

- Knowledge of IT or Telecoms desirable

- Work well as part of a team with a focus result orientation
