We have a fabulous opportunity for a candidate with Motor Finance or Asset finance experience to work as part of the sales team in a successful motor finance business. This is a full-time role is a great opportunity for someone to become an assistant account manager whilst learning all aspects of finance, at first hand. This is a great opportunity to work with and support key business partners. Working with our Regional Director, within the broker market and predominately in the office with occasional client visit to build business relationships with key business partners.
Working closely with Sales colleagues in the identification, canvassing and development of broker relationships, the generation of vehicle asset finance and new business from those relationships to meet targets and objectives as laid down from time to time.
Duties and responsibilities
To manage and maintain existing broker and introducer relationships
To identify and develop new broker and introducer relationships with potential to deliver new business to meet company new business targets
To provide a secondary point of contact in the office for brokers and introducers
To handle broker, supplier and customer enquiries and proposals in a timely and efficient manner
To prepare files for Credit consideration
To work with Sales Support to ensure the efficient processing of credit applications and completion of agreed facilities to include negotiation of terms
Previous finance experience, preferably in leasing/motor finance
Effective communication, customer service and writing skills
Able to understand and prepare asset finance proposals for underwriting
Able to interpret statutory and management accounts
Good presentation and interpersonal skills
Clear demonstration of the ability, aptitude and ambition to progress into an external relationship development role,
