Account Manager / Sales / Business Development
Our client’s product is a pioneering end-to-end IoT sensor network aimed at the Hospitality, Pharmaceutical and Catering industries. The technology involved ranges from small embedded ZigBee sensors, Bluetooth sensors, embedded Linux PCs and Android handsets, through to Amazon Web Servers running cloud based applications and databases.
They now have an opportunity for a results orientated Account Manager to join their multidisciplinary team in Cambridge to drive profitable growth within an assigned account base.
In this exciting and rewarding role you will develop and manage existing accounts as well as generate and manage new customer projects ensuring their revenue and profit is maximised and in line with their annual strategic plan. You will keep ahead of application trends and competitor activity whilst upholding and enhancing the brand through personal and organisational credibility. This role is expected to rely on phone based sales and support in addition to lead qualification although some European travel may be required.
They are looking for a proactive and tenacious sales professional with the ability to maintain and cultivate a deep understanding of customer requirements. With strong financial / commercial awareness, you will be market driven along with having excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge / experience with IoT, SAAS products would be advantageous however not essential.
