Account Manager - Politics / Business Information. Salary from £35k - £45k Basic + Uncapped Commission OTE £55k - £65k + Benefits including 25 days paid holiday, private health insurance and pension scheme.

Our client is a leading provider of political intelligence on the UK and EU. They provide fast, accurate and relevant information on the latest developments shaping policy and legislation in the UK and EU.
After an exciting period of growth they’re looking to hire for an Account Manager to join the London Commercial Sales team.
This exciting role presents a unique opportunity to combine a love of politics and public affairs with a strong commercial acumen.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the retention, growth and development of a portfolio of key accounts building strong relationships with them and working towards achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets.
Part of the role will be out meeting with clients and delivering face to face sales demonstrations with Heads of Public Affairs and senior level Marketing / Communications Directors so therefore we are looking for someone who enjoys getting, attending meetings and building relationships with clients.
We are open to receiving applications from Account Managers who are experienced in selling business information along with candidates who have a background / interest in Politics and have Sales and Account Management experience from related sectors (such as Media or Technology).
- Politics related degree or an interest / experience in politics or public affairs is preferable
- Minimum of 2 - 3 Years experience in a Commercial driven Sales / Account Manager role
- Experience of retaining and growing key accounts
- Hunger and desire with a self starter attitude
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience of selling business information, data, market research, SAAS or subscriptions face to face and over the phone
