Our client is a leading Food service Wholesale distributor responsible for supplying thousands of customers throughout the UK across multiple channels that range from independents, hotel chains, restaurant chains through to local authorities, Education, NHS trusts and defence contractors within the hospitality industry.
As a field based Account Manager you will be responsible for Warwickshire, South Birmingham and the surrounding area's. You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and identifying cross-selling and up selling opportunities. In addition, you will identify and develop profitable business with new accounts to increase market share within the region. Your role will be split 70% Account Management 30% New Business.
You will sell to a wide range of businesses ranging from independent cafés, restaurants through to hotels, schools colleges and the NHS. The points of contact level will vary hugely from Head Chefs, Catering Managers, Business Owners and Procurement Managers.
