Account Manager (IT and Telecoms)

We are working with a highly reputable and growing Business Communications Specialists as they look to expand their Account Management Team. The role offers a healthy mix of Business Development and Account Management and provides a platform to earn a very competitive package. Key Responsibilities:

  • To establish, maintain and develop current and potential client relationships
  • To continuously develop new business opportunities via lead generation and effectively manage a sales pipeline
  • To present and sell the company’s products and services to existing and potential clients whilst ensuring appropriate profit margins
  • To prepare presentations, proposals and quotations
  • To respond to and follow up on sales enquiries, new leads and referrals
  • Identify problems impacting on customer satisfaction and to implement a prompt and effective resolution through the management of all necessary resource
  • To manage allocated account base.
  • Quickly and efficiently responding to client queries and concerns, whilst working closely with other team members to ensure delivery of excellent customer service
  • Maintain up to date and accurate customer and lead information on CRM and relevant systems

Key Skills

  • A good back in a similar sales role and able to provide evidence of achieving targets in a sales role
  • Strong contract management, interpretation and negotiation skills
  • Well-organized, First class communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Problem solving / continual improvement mentality
  • Proven ability to establish, develop and nurture relationships and a willingness to socialise with the Client both during and outside of office hours
  • Experience in telecoms industry desirable
