Software Account Manager to work for a niche market ERP software reseller. This company has been very successful over the past 15 years and has built a strong ERP software business, focusing on a range of vertical markets in the SME space. A competitive package of up to £35k base plus car allowance of £6,800 p.a. and an uncapped OTE of £50k is on offer. Office based in Birmingham, near Fort Dunlop.
The ERP solution they sell is aimed at SME companies across Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, Supply Chain, House Building, Wholesale, Rentals, Construction and Engineering.
They are looking for an Account Manager who has account managed application software clients who are using solutions such as accounting software, construction software, ERP software, property management software, MRP, dealer management software, pensions software or similar and has a proven track record and strong communication skills across all levels.
Your primary role will be to look after the relationships with around 100 existing clients, building on their loyalty and renewing their software support contracts, plus upselling a portfolio of add-on products and modules, licenses, software upgrades, training & consultancy and business services. You will stay in regular contact with them by phone, email and on-site visits to deal with their issues and discuss their requirements.
You need to be able to maintain and build these relationships, inspiring trust and confidence and ensuring that clients are happy and satisfied with their service offering and ensuring that you spot and then optimise opportunities to sell and promote additional products and services.
You can create and maintain client profiles, keep customers informed of company and product news through meetings and seminars, produce quotes and proposals, and maintain decent CRM records.
You will have worked as an Account Manager or Sales Executive with software products such as NetSuite, Pinewood, CDK, SAP Business One, Kerridge, Prof.IT Plus, Dynamics NAV, Protean, Penta, Yardi, Orderwise, Dynamics AX, Sage 200, Sage L500, Infor M3, Intact, Greentree, Causeway, COINS, Access or any similar application software.
- Experience as an Account Manager or Sales Executive in the software market
- A consultative approach and the ability to tap into loyalty
- Good all-round knowledge of application software products
- Ability to develop new opportunities
- Track record of generating increased revenue from an existing client base
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent relationship building
- Enthusiastic and friendly
