To keep up with our growing client base, we are looking for pro-active, creative and articulate individuals to join our successful, expanding Account Management team.
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development and success of this exciting business, and be generously rewarded for the results you achieve.
You will use your outstanding communication, relationship building and account management skills to turn all your regular points of contact with clients and prospects (by email, phone or face-to-face) into opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability, so as to hit or exceed your targets.
You will be dealing with a wide range of interesting and fun merchandise every day, and will be encouraged to put forward your own new product ideas to generate further interest from customers and prospects, ably supported by your account management colleagues as well as the in-house design team.
You will also build strong relationships and maintain regular contact with a variety of suppliers, liaising regularly with factories throughout Europe and Asia.
You will need exceptional customer service skills, including an excellent telephone manner and a friendly and charismatic personality that clients can easily warm to.
You will be great at building relationships both within and outside the team, and comfortable communicating at all levels, be it with clients, suppliers, or colleagues, on the phone, in writing, or in person.
Well-presented and approachable, you are a quick learner who is excited by new challenges. Creative and forward thinking, you have excellent problem-solving skills and are able to influence and persuade others to your point of view.
You thrive on hitting and exceeding sales targets and are proud of your track record of success in your career to date. Driven, motivated, and never afraid of hard work, you always go that extra mile to achieve results.
Computer literate (particularly with Microsoft Excel - understanding spreadsheets is a must), with strong analytical and project management skills, you are great at organising, prioritizing, and managing your time.
Your ability to work well under pressure, often to tight deadlines, and your confidence handling multiple projects at the same time, make you ideally-suited to this fast-paced, high energy environment, where no two days are the same.
In addition to a competitive starting salary (£23,000 - £25,000 basic) and a workplace pension, there is a generous commission plan to reward you for your success - and all within an exciting working environment.
