Due to a recent change of focus for the business my client, who specialise in Pet Food and Treatments, are now looking to take on an Account Manager to drive the company to a new level. This is an opportunity to join a company with an autonomous culture which also offers fantastic progression as you will be working directly with the owner of the company having involvement at a strategic level.
As the Account Manager, the primary duty is to sell a marketing strategy to retailers, independents and garden centres. Other responsibilities include monitoring the supply and lifecycle of products in store whilst also targeting and prospecting new opportunities for business.
The successful candidate will have previous sales experience and an excellent track record of building relationships at senior levels within retailers. Pet industry experience is preferable however other industries will also be considered. Experience or understanding of a UAA (Undisclosed Agency Agreement) would be ideal. This role will suit someone who is ambitious and outgoing, with a strong work ethic who is looking for an opportunity to progress.
