Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, the role is an office based role and is to ensure the generation and growth of sales revenue across our partner account base and as required.
This means; To initiate, protect, build and develop the company’s business revenue and profit stream via links with partner organisations, their end users and direct customers. To identify and target new opportunities to sell the full product portfolio.
Working closely with, and under the guidance of the Global Sales Manager to develop the revenue and profit flow across the client base to ensure all the agreed targets for the company’s services revenue are met while ensuring maximum client satisfaction
Providing accurate performance measurement and forecasts of business planned
To conduct daily, weekly, monthly reviews with customers and as required to establish up sell and or cross sell opportunity and to train users as and when required via web-ex training sessions
Achievement of agreed activity levels
Qualifications and Experience:
Should ideally be educated to degree-level and will have gained experience within a business-to-business telesales / outbound customer service operation in a high-activity environment
Will have gained experience from within a target / performance-led business
Will ideally have experience of technology-based products and be IT-literate
Prior experience of client engagement and up/cross selling in an Account Manager capacity
Must have worked within a team-orientated culture, familiar with developing sales / marketing propositions
Must be detail conscious and committed to keeping accurate and up-to-date records
Will be ambitious, target-orientated with high levels of energy and drive
Must be commercially aware, entrepreneurial and a strong team player
Confidence and professional credibility
Hungry and motivated to succeed yet with a business awareness, consultative selling approach
A good communicator, both orally and in writing, with the necessary confidence and business awareness to persuasively present a case.
The ability to think and act quickly, particularly under pressure Awareness of the need for urgency and able persuade staff and prospects to think the same
Degree level education with in depth knowledge of current e-commerce issues ideal but not essential
