FMC are currently working with an expanding UK-based specialist engineering analysis software company who are aimed specifically at solving Civil Engineering stress analysis problems, and carrying out design for consulting engineering companies.
Specific applications of our clients advanced FE system are bridges, concrete structures and geotechnical analysis including soil-structure interaction problems.
Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team who can look after existing customers and add-ons in an Account Management position, and gain new customers in more of a sales role.
This role would involve management of existing accounts, development of new business directly and through distribution channels. In this position, you would be focusing on the South of the UK, whilst also focusing on Central & Eastern parts of the US.
The successful candidate will hold the following strengths:
- A proven track record of 3 years or more working in engineering software sales.
- Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree; Masters level or higher qualifications would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and management skills.
- Ability to work with external partners where necessary to develop region and segment specific markets. As well as this, work part of your internal team across departments to manage sales support staff.
