Account Handler

Due to continued growth, HRC Recruitment is delighted to be assisting this established brokerage in their search for an experienced commercial insurance broker/account handler to join their busy team in Glasgow.

The role:

You will join this dynamic team handling new and existing commercial insurance risks.

Duties include providing quotations on new and existing business, handling renewals & MTA’s. market submission, insurer negotiations, etc.

Knowledge of commercial motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, property owners, etc.

Building and developing insurer relationships.

The person:

  • Knowledge of commercial insurance risks essential
  • Candidates will only be considered from broking backgrounds
  • Confident handling new business quotations, renewals, MTA’s, market submissions, insurer negotiations, etc.
  • Acturis experience preferred but not essential
  • Good communication and IT skills.

This position comes with a competitive salary, bonus, 28 days holiday, support towards insurance exams, etc.

Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm
